Rehabilitation and operation of Cresent Emirates Hospital

The project aims to rehabilitate and operate Cresent Emirates Hospital, as well as to maintain all internal and external facilities to resume its operations after the war. The hospital serves more than a quarter of a million people following the return of displaced individuals to the Rafah Governorate. The project includes removing the damaged parts of the hospital, rebuilding them, and equipping the hospital with the essential tools and supplies needed to resume its operations.

Project Impact

1. Demolition of damaged parts and reconstruction: • Removal of rubble and remnants of destroyed sections of the hospital. • Reconstruction of damaged or completely demolished buildings and facilities. 2. Improvement of internal and external facilities: • Maintenance and renovation of internal facilities such as patient rooms, operating theaters, emergency units, and laboratories. • Maintenance of external facilities, including parking areas, gardens, and entrances. 3. Equipping the hospital with essential medical tools: • Providing the necessary equipment for various departments such as diagnostic devices, operating rooms, and intensive care units. • Furnishing the hospital with essential medical furniture such as hospital beds, chairs, and tables. 4. Resumption of healthcare services: • Fully resuming operations at the hospital to provide healthcare services to the local community. • Reopening emergency units, outpatient clinics, and inpatient departments. 5. Improved access to healthcare for the population: • Offering healthcare services to over 250,000 residents, especially with the return of displaced persons to Rafah Governorate. • Reducing the burden on other hospitals in the region
