The project aims to drill and establish two new water wells at European Gaza Hospital – Rafah to ensure sustainable water supply and enhance the hospital's ability to face challenges, following the damage to existing water sources. The project includes excavation works according to technical specifications, installation of modern water pumps, creation of protection rooms, and provision of water supply systems to the hospital. It also involves the supply and installation of control panels and technical tests to ensure water quality. The project benefits patients and their families, medical and administrative staff, and hospital departments that rely on water. The project duration is 4 months.
1. Ensure a continuous water supply: for the hospital, contributing to the full operation of all critical departments, such as operating rooms, dialysis units, laboratories, and sterilization services. This will improve the quality of medical services provided and increase the hospital's capacity to accommodate more patients. 2. Enhance the sustainability of the water system: by constructing two new wells, securing a reliable alternative water source during emergencies or disruptions in the public network. This will ensure the uninterrupted provision of healthcare services.
