Enhancing the Resilience and Sustainability of the NICU Team - Al-Rantisi Children’s Hospital

Amid the ongoing aggression and dire conditions in Gaza, the medical staff in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Al-Rantisi Specialized Children’s Hospital suffer from significant psychological and financial pressures due to low salaries and irregular payments. This negatively affects their performance and ability to provide effective care. This project aims to provide direct financial support to enhance the staff’s psychological resilience and motivate them to continue their vital work, alongside improving the work environment and securing necessary medical supplies. Through this support, we seek to ensure the sustainable delivery of high-quality healthcare to one of the most vulnerable groups—newborn infants—and reduce mortality rates under these challenging circumstances.

Project Impact

1- Enhance the psychological and professional resilience of the NICU medical team.

2- Motivate the staff to continue delivering high-quality care despite challenging conditions.

3- Improve staff stability by ensuring timely and regular financial support.

4- Increase the unit’s capacity to manage critical cases and reduce neonatal mortality rates

5- Provide a supportive work environment that fosters professional performance and medical efficiency.

Beneficiaries

100,000 people including women, children, newborns & elderly.
