The surgical operating room at the Public Services Hospital suffers from severe deterioration in infrastructure and equipment, including essential water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) systems. This poses significant risks to patient safety and the efficiency of medical procedures. The project aims to comprehensively renovate the surgical room, including structural, mechanical, and electrical works, alongside the rehabilitation of WASH facilities to ensure a safe and sterile environment. The goal is to enhance the quality of surgical care and reduce health risks associated with contamination and infrastructure failure.
- Improve the quality of surgical services provided at the Public Services Hospital.
- Ensure a safe, hygienic, and fully equipped environment for performing critical surgeries.
- Upgrade WASH systems within the operating department to meet sterilization and hygiene standards.
- Reduce complications and mortality rates resulting from infections or poor infrastructure.
- Support the surgical and medical staff by providing a modern and efficient working environment
