Amid the escalating health crisis and damage to laboratory infrastructure due to ongoing airstrikes, the Public Health Laboratory in Gaza faces severe challenges threatening its essential role in disease surveillance and environmental, food, and water safety. As the first line of defense against epidemics, this lab is critical to public health. This project seeks to urgently provide vital equipment to ensure the continuity of testing and monitoring services, and to mitigate rising health risks under the deteriorating humanitarian conditions. |
1- Restore operational capacity of the Public Health Laboratory in Gaza. 2- Ensure continuity of environmental, food, and water testing services. 3- Strengthen rapid response to outbreaks and public health threats. 4- Reduce health risks caused by contamination or infectious diseases. 5- Support lab personnel with essential tools to safeguard public health. |
