The Palestine College of Nursing (PCN), affiliated with the Ministry of Health, suffered severe damage due to the ongoing war, leading to the destruction of essential educational infrastructure. Faculty members and students face major challenges in continuing their academic and clinical training due to transportation issues and the worsening economic situation.
This project aims to support academic and clinical staff by providing remote training courses and workshops, ensuring the continuity of education for 240 nursing and midwifery students.
The initiative will strengthen the sustainability of healthcare education and help provide the health sector with qualified graduates who can meet the growing medical needs resulting from the war.
1- Ensure the continuity of nursing and midwifery education despite the current war and displacement.
2- Strengthen the capacity of academic and clinical instructors to provide effective remote and practical training.
3- Graduate qualified nurses and midwives to support the overwhelmed healthcare system in Gaza.
4- Alleviate the pressure on hospitals by increasing the number of trained healthcare providers.
